A weekly publication, the Jagaban newsmagazine, has debuted in Abuja.
In a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja, Wednesday, by the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Chief Dayo Lawal, the publication is in line with the vision of its publishing company, MainAnchor Ventures to provide a veritable news platform that will report events and happenings in the country in an in-depth investigative and topical style devoid of sensation and bias.
It will also serve its readers better and be an undisputable leader in the Nigerian media industry.
The statement read in part: “It is interesting to inform you all that the debut of our newsmagazine, The Jagaban, did not come easy, but as a result of teamwork and painstaking pursuit to join the media industry to contribute our quota to the effective dissemination of information and stand up for good governance in the country.
“We promise that this newsmagazine will become a widely read national news magazine that will serve its audiences timely information, in line with the media principles of truth, objectivity and fairness in a manner that will invariably contribute towards the onerous task of building a better and egalitarian nation where free press and democracy thrive.”
Jagaban is the popular name of Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
