IT clearance saved government N22.5bn — Pantami

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has said that the IT project clearance have saved the country N22.5 billion.

The minister who stated this at the NITDA @20 anniversary conference held in Abuja on Monday, added that though NITDA was established in April 2001 as a department under the Ministry of Communication, it has grown to become one of the best performing agencies of government in Nigeria.

The Director-General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, stated that the Agency has impacted over 2.5 Million Nigerians directly and/or indirectly in multiple areas of IT through its interventions and training.
