A socio-political lobby group in Plateau state that christens itself as the Integrity Group, and which draws membership from former commissioners on the petitions before it in respect of the financial improprieties during his tenure as governor in the erstwhile administration of

Senator Jonah Jang, has called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to expedite action The group said “while appreciating the on-going investigations and prosecution of corrupt former office holders by some federal agencies, we passionately appeal to the EFCC and ICPC to zoom their searchlight on Plateau state so as to uncover the rot of the defunct Jang administration, and recover the stupendous loot in his possession.”
During the briefing attended by five out of the six signatories, the group also volunteered that ‘as active participants in the first term of the former governor, we are ready and willing to assist in whatever way to bring Jang to Justice.”
The partisan lobby and pressure group said also that “we want specifically to dare Jang to tell the people of Plateau state about the N15 billion that was looted from Plateau state through the ASTC.”

Making further revelations in the press statement presented on behalf of the group by Banahel Andong and moderated by Joel Gwatau, the group also task Jang on the net cost of the uncompleted Old Airport Road to Yelwa Club junction, and similarly challenged Jang to tell the people of Plateau the actual cost of the new Government House which they claim is over inflated as Jang put it at a whopping N14 bjllion,”while
we are aware the same design and type of Government House was built in Ekiti state for N2.5 billion.”
The group also wants the EFCC or ICPC to get Jang to account for N2 billion sent to the state for SMEs to generate employment.
