Imolites‘ll be wealthy under my watch- Guber aspirant

An Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party (ANRP) gubernatorial aspirant in Imo state, Professor Alphonsus Njoku Ekwerike has promised Imo people that he will exploit the abundant mineral resources God deposited in the state to create wealth and turn around the economy of the state if elected governor in 2019.
The aspirant made the promise while addressing party faithful at the party’s state secretariat in Owerri on Tuesday.
He disclosed that there were about 260 mineral deposits in the state which could be used to produce different items in different factories that would be beneficial to human beings and this would eventually create employment for the teeming population in the state.
He mentioned “silicon” as one of the mineral deposits found in the state used in producing bottled water and cell phones.
While a bush plant that stings when human beings come into contact with them known in Igbo parlance as “agbirigba” could be used to produce stain remover and assured that the technological potentials of the state would be made manifest and money would flow.
“What people fail to understand is that every Imolite is a millionaire not by faith but by birth,” he said.
The Professor of Neuroendocrinology and Stem-Invention Programme and Clinical Research also promised to computerize all government ministries, said he would not be confrontational with anybody but would sit down and go straight to business from the first day in office.
He said he was satisfied with the idea of road expansion embarked upon by the present Government under the Urban Renewal programme but frowned at non-compensation of property owners.
