Imo: Uzodimma donates operational vehicles to police command 

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo state has donated some operational vehicles to the state police command.

While inspecting the vehicles, Sunday, the Commissioner of Police, Imo state command, CP Aboki Danjuma, lauded the governor for his unwavering support in the onslaught against violent crimes in the state. 

CP Danjuma noted that the governor had also demonstrated genuine support to the wives and families of deceased and injured police officers who paid the supreme price while fighting crime in the state which served as a morale booster for serving personnel. 

He stated that the governor’s enormous contributions, particularly in areas of providing the needed logistics and resources to the command, had remained the backbone of the majority of the command’s security achievements. 

The Commissioner of Police seized the opportunity to  express his profound gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun,  for his outstanding support and constant provision of logistic/ welfare packages to personnel, which had motivated them to effectively fight crime.

He assured that the refurbished vehicles donated by Governor Uzodimma would be strategically deployed across all Police Divisions and Area Commands in the state for round-the-clock visibility policing and night patrol to enhance the overall safety and security in the state for economic growth and development. 

The CP assured the good people of Imo state that the command under his watch would never relent in its unflinching determination to safeguard the lives and properties of the residents.

He solicited for the continued support from the citizens and residents of the state in the fight against crimes and criminality.
