I’m getting to my best – Ideye

The Nigerian has disclosed that he is gradually finding his feet in the English topflight after returning to the Baggies starting line-up
Nigeria international and West Bromwich Albion forward Brown Ideyehas said he is getting closer to his best.  Ideye was on from start to finish in the Baggies 1-0 defeat at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
Ideye is yet to score in the English Premier League since his £10million move from Dynamo Kiev and has since struggled for fitness making just three starts this season.
According to him, he is working very hard towards giving his best for the team he joined in the summer.
“I would say I have been working very hard,” Ideye told reporters.
“The gaffer (Alan Irvine) said he wanted me to work hard and at times it has been difficult for me to adapt to the system the team plays.
“I have to adjust to what I have to do when the team is playing, but right now I think I’m there and I am just working hard now.
“I was always hungry to start for West Brom and I always give my best.
“Sometimes it’s difficult but I have to keep on pushing and working hard for the team.
“I am getting closer to my best. I have had a lot of things to deal with so I just have to be focused and take it one game at a time,” he concluded.
Ideye is expected to lead West Brom’s frontline when they visit Queens Park Rangers this weekend as they chase their second win in 10 league matches.
