Hospital lauds AEDC on regular power

Th e Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) strides to ensure stable supply of electricity to consumers has been commended by Maitama District Hospital management which has acknowledged improved services in recent times. Th e hospital management also lauded the fi rm for its corporate social responsibility, especially receiving a donation of N500,000 as the AEDC’s humanitarian support to the institution.

Th e hospital’s Medical Director, Dr. Adun Sotimehin, made the commendation at the hospital’s send forth and awards ceremony held within the hospital’s premises where AEDC presented a cheque of N500,000 as corporate support to the hospital. Dr. Sotimehin disclosed that the AEDC has in numerous ways supported the institution’s care giving eff orts to residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and beyond. Responding, the AEDC’Managing Director, Engr. Ernest Mupwaya, represented by the Head, Human Resources & Administration, Mr. Folorunsho Dada, said the company’s gesture was in support of the laudable eff orts that the hospital was making in rendering humanitarian services to the people.

He commended the management and staff of the hospital for their dedication noting that such attitude was essential to the wellbeing of the society at large. Dada,who later received plaque of honour presented to the AEDC, promised the distribution company would continue to explore ways of improving its service delivery to the hospital and to all other customers in its franchise area.
