National leader of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir, has admonished Muslim fateful to hold onto politics, as part of what Islam preaches.

The cleric made the admonishment, at the closing of his Ramadan Tafsir, Tuesday night at Yan taya Mosque in Jos.

He said there was no way people could separate politics and Islam, because it is a means of administration and also ways of dealing with how to go about doing things in the world.

“Muslims should hold onto politics very well because it is part of Islam. In Islam, politics is a religion,” he asserted.

Jingir said people should shun money politics and admonished Muslims to always prepare their voters card to vote out bad politicians.

“By Allah’s grace, I will not use my hands to vote any politician that have cheated us. Therefore, people should vote out those politicians that have locked us and said we will not pray in our Mosques.

“Vote out those politicians who have locked us down during Coronavirus,” he admonished.

Sheikh Jingir frowned at incessant strikes by school teachers, lecturers and medical doctors in Nigeria, saying such actions thwarts the nation’s progress.

“I am calling on our teachers, lecturers to stop using strikes as only means of seeking for their rights, because such actions are making us retrogress in the country.

“If we halt education, then our country would not develop,” he admonished.

The cleric prayed for Nigeria’s stability, he further prayed for President Muhammadu Buhari, describing him a, “sincere leader.”
