Health minister, NPHCDA ED supervise children immunisation in Karu     

              

                                                   

The Coordinating Minister of Health and Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, Executive Secretary of the National Primary Health  Care Development Agency  (NPHCDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib and other dignitaries  Thursday supervised  the immunisation of children in Karu local  government, Nasarawa state.           

The minister personally interacted with health care workers that go from house to house to immunise children.                 

“Who trained you? How were you trained?  Show me your kit?  How do you use them? were some of the  questions  he  asked  health workers.                                   

Professor Pate personally supervised the immunisation of few children before moving to  other sections to inspect equipment and ask workers questions on how they perform their duty at the New Karu Health Care Center.                                       

Accompanied by Dr Shuaib, Esu of Karu, Luka Panya, Gavi CEO, David Malow and other dignitaries, the minister engaged with patients and officials in Karu  Health Care Center.        He said the government of President Bola TInubu has embarked on a mission that makes the good health of every Nigerian  a priority. 

He stated further that the federal government would work with state, local governments, traditional rulers and religious leaders to ensure good health for all Nigerians. 

Mr Malow of GAVI, who came from Geneva  said    he was impressed with what he has seen, adding that he came to find out how the organisation can assist in ensuring good health of all Nigerians.
