Governor Bago distributes agricultural inputs, tools in Niger

The Niger State government has distributed agricultural inputs and farm tools to fathers and workers in the state.

The Governor, represented by the deputy governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, spearheaded the phase 2 distribution of agricultural and work tools, injecting vitality into the farming community and labor-intensive public workers.

The Governor distributed farm machinery worth hundreds of millions, including Tractors, Fertilizers, Rice Millers, Multi-purpose Threshers, Hammer mills, Power tillers, De-stoners, Rice Transplanters, and Hand reapers. Additional support extended to seeds, herbicides/insecticides, and water pumps.

The event witnessed a cash transfer of 100,000 Naira to over five thousand beneficiaries, laptops, POS machines, and Android phones, affirming the government’s commitment to promoting active participation in farming and ensuring food security for Nigerians and the nation.
