Gov Sani Scores high on security, infrastructure, health – Hon. Sulaiman  

The Counselor to the Kaduna State Governor on Infrastructure, Hon. Samaila Sulaiman, has lauded Governor Uba Sani’s administration for “unprecedented transformation” across key sectors in the state.

In a statement commemorating the governor’s second year in office, Sulaiman said the state has made significant progress in security, healthcare, education, infrastructure, and economic development.

He noted that over 150 operational vehicles and 500 motorcycles have been distributed to security agencies to enhance rapid response to distress calls, especially in areas prone to kidnappings and other crimes.

He further praised the administration’s non-kinetic approach to security through dialogue and community policing, backed by the recruitment and training of over 7,000 personnel into the Kaduna Vigilance Service.

He mentioned the reopening of the Kaduna–Birnin Gwari road after years of closure, the 68 road projects totaling over 700 kilometers have been completed across urban and rural areas, 62 new secondary schools with 600 classrooms constructed while 200 others were renovated, positively impacting the learning environment for over 200,000 pupils as part of the governor’s achievements..

He added that the state has paid SSCE examination fees for students from indigent backgrounds to ensure a smooth transition for secondary school leavers.

He also commended the governor for clearing outstanding pensions and entitlements owed to retired workers by the previous administration.

“There is now a breath of fresh air in Kaduna. People go about their daily lives without fear or intimidation. The atmosphere of peace and religious harmony is a direct reflection of Governor Sani’s unifying leadership,” he said.
