Team Osun sealed a place in the semi-final of women’s football at the 2024 National Sports Festival following a 6-1 victory over Benue state.
Doyin Adepoju and Robiat Taofeek scored for Team Osun in the first half.
Aisha Omolola grabbed a brace after the break with Victory Odanlumen and Rukayat Ariyo scoring the other goals.
Their semi-final opponent will be known after the completion of group stage games.
The Flamingos, who are part of the Independent Junior Athletes, IJA, are also seeking a place in the last four.
They have secured one win and one draw from their opening two games.
