Kano state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje Sunday confirmed fresh number of coronavirus cases in the state with a plea to continuously ensure safety of citizens.
Ganduje who disclosed this via his verified twitter handle said, “We have now confirmed a total of 37 #COVID19 cases with 10 new emerging yesterday (Saturday) evening.
“It’s important that you wash your hands and disinfect your environment to avoid catching the virus. We are working tenaciously to make sure that the people of Kano State remain safe.”
So far, Kano has recorded a total of 37 Covid-19 cases after one week.
One of the index cases has resulted to death.
