Galatasaray and Serie A side Napoli have reached a final agreement for the permanent transfer of Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen in a €75 million deal.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish champions met all of Napoli’s demands, bringing an end to weeks of intensive negotiations between the two clubs. As part of the agreement, Napoli will receive 10 percent of any future transfer fee should Osimhen move on.
Reports indicated that Osimhen himself played a pivotal role in securing the move, personally urging Napoli to accept Galatasaray’s fifth and final offer. The 25-year-old forward, who scored 38 goals in all competitions for Napoli last season, is now set to travel to Istanbul to complete his medical examinations.
Osimhen is expected to be officially unveiled as a Galatasaray player and he is expected to spearhead the club’s attack as they challenge domestically and in European competition.
