Spain international Álvaro Morata is set to join Serie A side Como from Galatasaray following the Turkish club’s successful agreement to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Sunday, revealing that Morata’s long-anticipated move had been delayed due to Galatasaray’s negotiations with Napoli for Osimhen.
“Álvaro Morata, now set to join Como from Galatasaray as soon as all documents for Osimhen deal will be signed next week. Morata has been waiting for Como for one month… and now, all set,” Romano posted on X.
Galatasaray reportedly finalized the remaining details of Osimhen’s transfer over the weekend, paving the way for Morata’s departure.
The 31-year-old striker has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Como, marking his return to Serie A, where he previously featured for Juventus and AC Milan.
