A fire has engulfed the Lagos office of popular Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo.
The incident, which occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, was confirmed by the actress in a post on her Instagram page.
While the full extent of the damage is yet to be determined, Ojo expressed relief that no lives were lost. She thanked the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their swift response in containing the blaze.
“This just happened today around 7 p.m. My office caught fire,” she wrote. “Thanks to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully, no lives were lost. The devil tested us but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better.”
The cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
