Fall of Sambisa: Al-Makura hails Buhari, army

Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa state has said that Nigerians will ever remain grateful to President Muhammadu Buhari for the capture of Sambisa Forest, the last stronghold of Boko Haram terror sect.
Troops of Operation Lafiya Dole finally entered Boko Haram’s Camp Zero located in the heart of Sambisa Forest on Friday and crushed the Insurgents.
In a statement by the media aide to the governor, Ahmed Tukur, said that the defeat of the insurgent in the forest had reassured Nigerians of President Buhari-led administration resolve to ensure a safe and secured society in the country.
He said that the capture of Sambisa signified the sincerity attach to security by President Buhari since the beginning of his administration as against previous efforts.
He also commended the gallant troops under Lt Gen Tukur Buratai   for their bravery in bringing down the insurgence.

“I congratulate our president for reassuring Nigerians of his administrations resolve to ensure a crime free society by defeating and capturing the last strong hold of Boko Haram”.
“I call on every Nigerian to rally round president Buhari to bring the needed development to our country through a crime free society”.
He added that the army has made Nigerians proud by their bravery and call on Nigerians to support them by given the security useful information that will assist them carry out their duty diligently and efficiently.
He also commended the civil JTF for standing by their country saying that Nigerians will ever remain grateful.
