Emir Sanusi and surviving the antics of Sojojin Baka

Emir Sunusi’s stance for the truth cost him his seat at the Central Bank in February 2014.
One of the main responsibilities of traditional institutions is advisory as colonial masters have stripped them of their roles for decades.

As the saying goes truth is bitter, APC Government promised heaven to Nigerian electorate, one I could remember is free education from primary to university.
None of those promises seems to be gaining ground or fulfilled in the near future as the first half of the administration is elapsing.
Emir Sanusi is known for criticising economic policies of the government. But political thuggery in states like Kano, where Sojojin Baka criticise and malign individuals no matter how highly placed they are, have curtailed such criticisms.
One of the Sojojin Bakas in Kano, who is close to the presidency, harped on Emir Sanusi II alleging that the emir is dancing to the tune of his paymasters and if he is not careful politics will consume him,

My take is Emir Sanusi should soldier on. As an Islamic scholar and leader, he should not bow to blackmailers. He should not stop in telling government the truth.
What has eroded the influence of our traditional institutions before was keeping quite when government goes wrong. People keep citing examples that late Alhaji Ado Bayero was not outspoken. Yes, he was not but that did not prevent the late sarki from telling truth to power.
On July 29, 2002 during the launching of a book, Prince of the Times and Transformation of Emiral Authority in Kano, late Ado Bayero told then President Olusegun Obasanjo that “Nigerians are in hardship”.’
Almighty Allah created human beings differently. Emir Muhammadu Sanusi will never be like late Ado Bayero, just as Sanusi II will never be like his contemporaries while his contemporaries will never be like him.
With the recent attack by SOJAN BAKA and an ally of the presidency and Talakan Sarkin Kano, will the emir survive the antics of SOJOJIN BAKA?
