The Oba of Benin, HRM, Ewuare II, has congratulated Muslim faithful across the world on this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival also known as the Feast of Sacrifice in Islam.
The traditional ruler charged Muslims to reflect on the tenets of Islam in the Holy Qur’an in their act of worship.
Oba Ewuare II also prayed God to grant the nation’s leaders good health, peace, wisdom and progress of mankind.

The statement added that the Benin monarch admonished Muslims not to forget the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir and pray to God almighty for peace in Nigeria.
