The national president of Egbira People’s Association (EPA), Dr. Godwin Oyibo, Monday, charged the newly inaugurated executive body of the association in Kogi to live in peace and work for the progress of the land.
Dr Oyibo, who stated this during the inauguration of new executive members of the association at the Riverton Hotel, Lokoja, cautioned them against crisis, saying without unity and cooperation, no meaningful success can be achieved.
He commended the people of Egbira people in Lokoja for their peaceful conduct and urged them to sustain this feat.
Earlier in his speech, the chairman of Ebira Peoples Association, (EPA), Lokoja branch, Comrade Moses Omolori Momoh, advocated for unity among Egbira people living in Lokoja to guarantee progress, development and prosperity.
“I promised to continue to champion the cause of the people of Ebira people in Lokoja. I promised not to betray the confidence reposed in me and my executives. I will not take you for granted,” he said.
