Cross River state Journalists Forum (CROSSJOF), Abuja chapter, has commended Governor Ben Ayade over his purposeful leadership and efforts at making the state the preferred business destination in Nigeria.
The forum particularly commended the governor for his commitment to the Bakassi Deep Port which saw the governor meeting with some investors in China recently.
Interim secretary of the CROSSJOF, Mr. Ralph Ekpang, in a statement in Abuja, commended the governor for various developmental projects in the state including the Super Highway.
The Forum stressed that the governor’s development stride has restored the people’s confidence in the state and his administration’s readiness to fulfil campaign promises.
“We, therefore, want to assure him that whatever will make him succeed and provide dividend of democracy to our people; we will support him, but also will provide critical appraisal of his administration when he need arises.
“We urge all Cross Riverians to give the Senator Ayade-led government a chance by offering tangible advice and roadmap on how the fortune of the state can be turned around, rather than engage in constant criticisms,” the statement read in part.
