The Borno state Commissioner for Commerce Trade & Investment, Dr. Tarpaya Asarya, has thumbed up Governor Baba-Gana Zululum for his development strides across the state.
Asarya particularly was pleased with the governor for “raising the bar in the area of human capital development, infrastructure development, the fight against insurgency education, health, quality water supply, and agriculture.”
The commendation was contained in a press statement released to Blueprint in Abuja by the commissioner.
Asarya also commended the governor for the construction of ultra modern council secretarial in Gwoza, housing development in the state capital, area councils, including the construction of ultra modern shops at Gajiganna, Cross Kauwa, Gajiram in Dikwa area council among other initiatives.
In the fight against insurgency, Asarya also thumbed up the governor for procuring security gadgets for security agencies and the local security outfit, CJTF (civilian joint tax force), to combat Boko Haram/Iswap aggression, particularly in the northern parts of the state; Marty, New Marty, Gwoza, Bama and other areas.
The commissioner, therefore, urged the youth to support and encourage the governor by being law-abiding and rather engaging in entrepreneurships and skills acquisition training for self-reliance.
