Cleric sues for improved security in Nigeria

A renowned cleric, Prophet Sunday Balogun, has charged the present administration of President Muhammad Buhari to improve on security to save lives and property of innocent Nigerians who are dying on daily basis.

Fielding questions from journalists at a crossover night in Masaka, Nasarawa state over the weekend, Prophet Balogun who is the General Overseer Garden of Love and Deliverance Ministry, noted that the country has what it takes to stop insecurity.

While describing insecurity as the greatest challenge Nigerians are facing presently, Prophet Balogun urged religious leaders and followers to intensify efforts in prayer and service to God.

He blamed Nigerian politicians’ selfish interest for the present killing and destruction of properties in the country.

National Youth Leader, People Democratic Party (PDP), Charles Omili ,who also preached at the crossover service, noted that the present administration had failed the nation and urged Nigerians to rise up in prayer for God to salvage the country from total collapse.

The team of the crossover night service into year 2021 was tagged “Year of all round favour,” to Nigerians.
