Cleric blames youth’s anti-social behaviour on poor upbringing

Lack of proper up bringing has been identified as one of the major causes of anti-social behaviour among youths in the country.
Speaking at special thanksgiving service, the Minister of God of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Garki Abuja, Rev. Jibe Bulus, noted that, youths of today are going to be leaders of tomorrow which require all efforts that would make them better citizens in future.

According to Bulus, the hope of any nation depends on the care it gives its youths, adding that, the children of today grow up to be the leaders of tomorrow, so all of us (parents) and government should ensure proper upbringing and welfare of our children.

He described the youths as vital sources of development, saying it was essential to inculcate in them the fear of God, positive values of leadership and the spirit of patriotism. He praised Nigerian the youths for demonstrating unalloyed patriotism in many fields of human endeavours, noting that the nation cannot survive as a cohesive and indivisible entity without the patriotic support of its citizens, especially the youths.

He urged Nigerians to pray for fervently for the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan and support his government for the survival of democracy, adding that, Nigerians should manifest God-fearing attitude and righteousness in their service to humanity and God.
Rev. Bulus also condemned the Nyanya bomb blast and called on the federal government to urgently take necessary steps to end the insurgency in the country.
