Cleric admonishes couple to invest in love for happiness

Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Lafia, Daniel Alexander, has admonished newly wedded Olukayode Babalola, a staff of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) and Olajumoke Oyelade, also a reporter, to invest in love as the sure way to happy married life.
He gave the admonishment at the weekend in Lafia, saying a lot of marriages failed due to nonchalant attitude and misplaced of priorities among couples.
He also urged wives to be submissive to their husbands as he equally advised husbands to love their wives in accordance the God’ directives.
The cleric who read from Genesis 2:18 quoted the Bible as saying: “It is not good for man to be alone, I will make him a help mate.” The cleric also called on all Nigerians to be close to God and pray for his intervention in the crisis and attacks going on in some parts of the country.
On their part, the couple expressed joy, saying the marriage was a dream come true, and prayed God to see them through as they begin a new life together
