Christ embassy honours NIS DG, others

It was a day of appreciation for the Christ Embassy Church Benin zone one who honoured those who have stood by them spiritually and financially in carrying out the work of God in the stte capital and its environ.

According to pastor Mike at the award ceremony, the honour was in recognition of the immediate past deputy governor of Edo state who is now the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Comrade Philip Shaibu’s contribution to God’s work and humanity.

Responding while receiving the award which was put together by Christ Embassy in conjunction with Inner- city Ambassadors in their current project to feed one million persons, the NIS Boss said he will continue to support the work of God and give to the needy across the country.

Speaking further, Comrade Philip Shaibu said, “Your current project of one million meals campaign is a commendable one . As we always partner with you in all your activities, we will also support you in your one million meals campaign drive.

“For me, it has been God, anything I do, I put God first. So, I thank you for your good work for humanity, for me, as I said earlier I will always be there and do my best.

The church partnering with Inner-city Ambassadors are currently in a one million meals campaign project.

Others honoured are Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, Speaker, Edo House of Assembly. distinguished Senator Neda Imasuen, the Senator Representing Edo South, Bishop Matthew Okpebhola Chairman Ray Royal Nigeria Ltd. Rt. Hon. Ogbeide Ihama. Executive Director, Niger Delta Power Holding Company, distinguished Senator Matthew Urhoghide.

Also honoured were Dr Paddy Iyamu Commissioner of Education Edo state, Otunba Banknie Balogun, Chairman Edo Revenue Board, Rt Hon Billy Osawaru, Member House of Representatives, Hon Cornelius Oseatofo Amhiegbereta, Hon.
