Some directors of a Chinese-linked company ‘Crown Ceramics Nigeria Limited’, have appealed to President Bola Tinubu to prevail on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to unseal their factory in Ogun state.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the directors said the company, has been operating in Nigeria since 2014 and contributes to the country’s economic development.

The directors, namely; Zhang Kefeng
Zhang Linshuang, Liu Zhengyu, and Liao Yuzhen, accused two other ‘directors’ of involving the police to seal off the factory due to their disagreement.

They said the situation escalated when police officers sealed off the factory in Ogun state, preventing them from access, adding that currently, “policemen are stationed at the factory entrance.

They appealed to President Tinubu to intervene by instructing the IGP to remove police from the factory so that operations would continue.

“As a result of the above, the company is presently unable to pay staff salaries, the royalties and charges due to the government”, they said.
