President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday had a closed-door night night meeting with the aggrieved members of House of Representatives elected on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) over leadership crisis in the lower chamber of the National Assembl.
Blueprint learnt that the meeting was brokered by Senator Abu Ibrahim from Katsina State.
The 29 lawmakers were led to the meeting by Honourable Femi Gbajabiamila, and we’re said to be drawn from the six geo-political zones of the country.
The lawmakers were convened to the venue in two white Coaster buses.
Blueprint learnt that the meeting was part of efforts aimed at resolving the leadership crisis rocking the two chambers of the National Assembly.
It would be recalled that Gbajabiamila was picked by the leadership of APC as the party’s candidate for the post of the Speaker before but he was defeated by Honourable Yakubu Dogara from Bauchi state.
