The Zamfara state commissioner for budget and economic planning Hon. Abdulmalik Gajam was on Thursday December 21, 2023 sent out of the State House of Assembly complex before 2024 budget presentation by Governor Dauda Lawal.
The lawmakers said the decision was after he refused to honour their previous invitations three times consecutively.
Aside being sent out of the Assembly complex, the house threatened to withdraw the approval which confirmed him as Commissioner.
The state governor later arrived the complex and laid next year’s budget before the legislators.
