Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has won the 2023 African Footballer of the year.
The star striker beat competition against Egyptian Mohamed Salah and Moroccan Achraf Hakimi to win the crown.
Osimhen’s league-leading 26 goals for Napoli last season lifted the club to its first Serie A title in 33 years.
Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala has also won the female version of the African Best Footballer of the year.
She won the award after her significant performance at the 2023 FIFA women World Cup in France.
