The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), has postponed the collation of Bayelsa governorship results for Brass and Southern Ijaw Local government areas till 12pm on Monday.
The result announced so far sees the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leading by over 60,000 votes with six out of eight LGAs announced so far.
The state governor, Duoye Diri of the PDP, who is seeking reelection, has so far polled 137,909 votes while Timipre Sylva, his All Progressives Congress (APC) rival, trails with 73,503 votes, leaving a margin of 64,406.
