A dynamite explosion rocked the secretariat of the Action People’s Party along the GRA axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital on Monday morning.
Blueprint gathered that the incident occurred in the wee hours of Monday precisely around 1am.
The assailants allegedly threw substances believed to be dynamite into the building housing the secretariat shattering windows and doors, as well as destroying other property of the party.
Although, those who carried out the act have not been identified at press time, but the incident may not be unconnected with the leadership crisis in the state.
The spokesperson for the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, said she was not yet aware of the incident but promised to find out.
