Blueprint understands that Senator Dino Melaye, a while ago on Friday finally surrendered to the police, eight days after he was held up in his house.
His Abuja residence is located within one of nigh breed areas of the Nation’s capital.
Report in some quarters have it that Dino left his house with some lawmakers from the National Assembly who paid him a solidarity visit.
They went to the police in company with his lawyer, Mr. Mike Ozekhome.
However, an witness account who preferred to lie low told Blueprint that the Kogi-born Lawmaker voluntarily came out of his house and was immediately arrested by waiting Policemen.
“As I was just passing in front of his house, I heard a Police man shout to his Colleague that the man has finally come out. And they are right now on their way to the Police station,” She said.
