The Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredoku, has reportedly returned to Nigeria after months of vacation.
The ailing governor, according to the Nation, arrived on Wednesday through Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
Report revealed that Akeredolu was flown in a private jet with United Aviation flight number N728LB.
“Immigration officials will only stamp his passport in Abuja since he is just coming into the country.
“He will then be immediately flown to Ibadan Airport, possibly for onward movement, or maybe he will spend the remaining days of his extended medical leave in his Ibadan home.
“This much is clear since he will not be flying to Akure where there is local airport. He will possibly stay in Ibadan,” a source said.
The governor was flown to Germany on May 31, 2023 to get foreign medical attention.
