Blueprint, Jaiz Bank in partnership to enhance business development

The Chief Operating Officer, Blueprint Newspapers, Mallam Salisu Umar, Thursday stressed the need for the media and banks to uphold a healthy relationship, adding that its partnership with Jaiz Bank is geared towards business development.

He said Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has simplified information dissemination and thus made it easier for banks to carry its products nearer to their customers in the new digital age.

Mallam Umar stated this while playing host to the communication team of Jaiz Bank which paid a courtesy visit to the Corporate Headquarters of the publishing outfit in Utako, Abuja.

“With digitization it is a lot easier to pass information everywhere and this helped the banks to cut cost as well due to availability of social media handle that transmit information fast and timely too.

“As we publish your products and information it gets to your customers far and wide without any waste of time, this is an added advantage because the readers and your customers are carried along at minimal cost,” he explained.

He enjoined the management of Jaiz Bank to take advantage of the Hausa version of Blueprint Newspapers which is Manhaja to get the banks’ products across to its numerous customers, especially in the Northern part of the country.

Earlier in her remarks, Head of Corporate Communications Department of Jaiz Bank Plc, Hajia Halima Ishaq, lauded Blueprint for the partnership and said it was beneficial to both parties.

She called for more collaboration to enable the bank and the newspaper to flourish.

On his part, the Head, External Communication and Media Relations in the Corporate Communications Department of Jaiz Bank Plc, Mohammed Kandi, charged both organisations to continue to improve on the existing relationship and an enhanced business environment.
