The host of Big Brother Naija Season 10, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, has announced a major shake-up in the format of the Head of House (HoH) games, marking a new era in the show’s tradition.

Historically, the HoH title offered housemates a week-long reign filled with perks — including immunity from eviction and exclusive access to a luxurious HoH suite. But for the 10 Over 10 edition, these rules are getting a dramatic twist.

In a surprise revelation during Saturday night’s show, Ebuka disclosed that the HoH games will now take place on Sundays, with a new addition: a Head of House Challenger Game on Mondays.

“A Head of House challenger game has been introduced on Mondays, and this is when the winner of the HoH will defend their position,” Ebuka said.

This means the HoH must now fight to retain their title just 24 hours after winning it — raising the stakes and reshaping strategy inside the house.

The first round of the revamped HoH game is set for Sunday, July 27, promising a thrilling start to what already looks like a high-octane season.

As BBNaija marks its 10th edition, fans should brace themselves for intensified gameplay, unexpected alliances, and a whole new level of competition.
