The Niger state governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has reassured the people of Niger state of his administration’s commitment to the welfare and security of citizens of the state.
The governor stated this Sunday in a statement by his chief press secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, in reaction to the attacks.
He said the welfare and security of lives and property of citizens is paramount to the administration.
He said: “I want to assure you of our resolve to have a secured state. 1 am sure that the impact of my recent interface with service chiefs will soon be felt by all and sundry.”
While praying for the repose of the souls of those killed by the bandits, and safe return of abductees, Bago wished for quick recovery of those injured.
