Articulate workable strategies on 2023 census, Banigo tells NPC

Rivers state deputy governor, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, has urged the National Population Commission (NPC) to articulate workable strategies for the conduct of the 2023 census.

 Dr. Banigo stated this Tuesday during the Rivers State Stakeholders Summit on the 2023 Population and Housing Census at the NBA House in Port Harcourt, River state capital.

Represented by her Director of Administration, Mr. Ben Roberts, Dr. Banigo noted the importance of conducting accurate and credible census which according to her would help to facilitate adequate planning for all round development, adding that the 2023 census must be gotten right.

The deputy governor said the Rivers state government would provide the enabling environment and the resources to aid the exercise and ensure it succeeds.

She thanked the organisers for inviting critical stakeholder to the summit and making them agents for the sensitisation of the populace concerning the 2023 census.
