The Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Abia state chapter, Rev Augustine Ehiemere has said with the party in charge,  all sectors of the state economy now comatose would not only be revived but witness speedy transformation.

Ehiemere disclosed this Tuesday, during the flag-off ceremony of the 2022 edition of the free medical/surgical scheme of the governorship candidate, Prof Greg Ikechukwu Ibe, held in Umuahia.

Rev Ehiemere added that “with APGA in government, doctors will not be owed; teachers will get paid at the end of the month; workers and pensioners will not need to embark on street protest before they receive their entitlements.”

He revealed that their governorship candidate had confided in him about his well- articulated blueprint to permanently fix the perennial flooding that has always wrecked havoc at Nkporo communities.

According to the APGA Chairman, “beyond empathising with the victims and affected communities, the in- coming administration of Professor Ibe will soon unveil the master-plan to permanently address the challenge of flooding in Nkporo”.

The Ukwa West-born clergyman turned politician, however, commended their governorship candidate for embarking on free medical/ surgical scheme aimed at providing succour to the health challenged in Abia.

He pointed that the governorship candidate, Prof Greg Ibe, is not an emergency philantropist like most political office seekers.

He noted that the free medical/ surgical scheme was s only the 2022 edition of the philathropic gesture which he said the guber candidate set up Greg Ikechukwu Ibe Foundation as a platform to give hope to humanity.

Ehiemere urged all Abians to join in the efforts to rid the state of bad governance and recycled political politicians by voting for Apga candidates in the 2023.

Earlier, the governorship candidate, Prof Ibe, said shortage of doctors and other health officers was the reason the health sector in the state is in comatose state.
