APC’ll grow stronger after convention – Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zone C, Yobe state, Alhaji Yakubu Muhammad Jacob, has declared that the party “will grow stronger after the convention that led to the election of a new set of leaders” for the party.
He made the declaration in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, noting that the “outcome of the convention shows that the party is becoming solid and stronger.” He also congratulated Alhaji Mai Malah Buni on his election as the national secretary of “our great party, the APC.” The statement read in part: “His emergence once again in this noble position is another proof of his total commitment to the progress of the party.
Credit must also be given to our Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam, whose firm support and total commitment to the future of the party helped a lot in the emergence of Alhaji Mai Malah Buni as the party’s National Secretary.” “The leadership displayed by Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam is laying more solid foundation for our great party in Yobe state and at the national level.
“Let me also reiterate the leadership, patriotism and respect for party supremacy displayed by our President, Muhammadu Buhari, whose direction ensured that the convention consolidated the position of the party as the first choice for the progress and development of Nigeria.” Jacob charged party members to work harder and unite ahead of next year’s general elections and beyond.
