The Global Chairman, Tinubu/ Shettima 619 Coalition Groups, Ambassador AbdulMumuni Salau, Wednesday, hailed Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye’s immeasurable experience as a former Plateau state governor and distinguished senator representing Plateau Central, which qualifies him to be national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He described Senator Dariye as a grassroots politician, a team player, a true harbinger of national unity and integration as well as a bridge-builder who is tested and trusted.
Salau said if supported to man the position of chairman, he will take the party to a higher level, especially now that the party needs a pragmatic leader, who will consolidate on the great successes the party has recorded.
A statement made available to our correspondent Wednesday reads: “At our level at Tinubu/ Shettima 619 coalition groups, after due consultation with critical stakeholders, we have no iota of doubt that the Distinguished Senator Dariye has the requisite intellectual wherewithal and exposure to steer the affairs of our great party to the next level, especially as the momentum gears up for the 2027 general elections.
“Senator Dariye’s pedigree as a good listener and his inter-personal relation will add value to our great party.
“Distinguished Senator Dariye’s ability to mobilise the youth, women and other party members working for the success of our party, are endearing qualities as he is known and cherished by those who have closely worked with him.”
The statement called on party men and women to work assiduously for the emergence of Dariye as the next chairman of APC.
