A chieftain of the African Democratic Party (ADC) in Sokoto state, Alhaji Faruku Fada has advised the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) administration in the state to start preparing handover notes for allegedly failing to fulfill its campaign promises.
Furuku, who is aspiring to contest the House of Representatives seat for Sokoto North / South federal constituency in 2027, Tuesday, accused the APC- ed administration of misplacement of priorities, gross incompetence, thoughtlessness and making life more unbearable to the average citizens.
He said the people of Sokoto state have vowed to sack the APC-led government come 2027 general elections because the government has lost touch with the electorate, especially in rural areas, as it failed to provide the needed dividends of democracy.
“People of Sokoto are tired of this administration. It has woefully failed to address certain critical problems that bedeviled the state.
“Despite the huge federal allocations that accrued to the state, instead of the government to face serious issue, it engaged on window dressing , construction of roundabouts and wire fencing which majority of people viewed as a misplacement of priority,”_ he said.
