Amafibe calls for peaceful elections in Nigeria

The President, Peace Ambassador Agency Worldwide, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, has called on Nigerians to use their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) to elect the most credible candidate(s) they feel would change the fortune of the Nigeria.

He made this known while addressing youths during a programme at an event put together by his organisation in Abuja.

He described the PVC as a tool that confers political power on the electorate and that what the youths need is the card, which he said is more powerful than an AK-47 rifle.

He said, “The PVC is your AK-47. You do not need any gun or machete to intimidate anyone.

“Do not allow politicians to use you as cannon fodders to advance their selfish political interest. They tell you lies and give you peanuts to harass and intimidate other politicians contesting with them.

“Even if they give you anything, collect it and vote your conscience. We shouldn’t sell our future with peanuts. They kept their families abroad and want you to do their hatchet jobs .

“Tell them to bring their children, to come do same and see their reactions. Let’s make Nigeria and 2023 elections the best yet.”

He also urged youth to shun drug abuse and all acts of violence before, during, and after the elections and stressed the need for them to key into programmes that would change their lives for good.
