Air Commodore Ejodame takes over as NAF spokesperson

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Thursday, assumed duty as the new spokesperson for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

He took over from Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, who previously held the position.

Speaking at a brief handing and taking over ceremony at NAF Headquarters in Abuja, Air Commodore  Ejodame solicited media support 

He said: “To my colleagues, my brothers and sisters in the media organisation, again, I want to say thank you for the support you have given to my predecessor and to the Nigerian Air Force and the Armed Forces of Nigeria at large. I want to say I follow your stories keenly. 

“I’m actually very much appreciative of your commitment, and I solicit your support greatly, and as I admire your commitment in the way you work, I solicit your support to work together, and by the grace of God, we’ll definitely come up with some impactful works.”

Earlier, Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, Group Captain Kabiru Ali, in a statement described Air Commodore Ejodame is a seasoned officer with vast experience in logistics, strategic planning, and defence management.

“He is a member of the 45th Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s degree in Transport and Logistics as well as a PhD in Information Systems and Management Studies from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.  

“His professional journey has seen him undertake numerous high-level military and strategic courses, including logistics training at the United Nations International Peace Support Operations Centre in Kenya and Optimisation and Decision Making in Supply Chain Course from the Erasmus Intensive Programme, in Portugal.

“He completed training at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, and the Air Force War College, Makurdi, where he emerged as the Best Graduating Participant,” the statement reads in part.
