Ahmed Musa to make Super Eagles’ return

Ahmed Musa may get a recall to the Super Eagles after he was snubbed for the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.

The most capped Nigeria star will most likely be listed for the London invitational tournament, which leads to the high-profile friendly against Russia in Moscow on June 6, according to ScoreNigeria.

Ahmed Musa did not get a minute of action in the 2023 AFCON in Cote d’Ivoire in February 2024.

He has scored 18 goals in 110 appearances for the Super Eagles.

The 32-year-old forward Friday enhanced his chances for an international recall when he scored his eighth goal in the NPFL for Kano Pillars to stop Rivers United 2-0 in continuation of the domestic championship.
