A major political shift is brewing in Gombe state as the Alliance for Good Governance (AGG) Tuesday officially threw its weight behind the Gombe state Coalition of Political Parties Working Group in a move to challenge the status quo.
The coordinator and convener of the meeting attended by hundreds of youth, Ahmed Usman Haruna, at the meeting held Tuesday at Emerald hotel, said they support and back the coalition of opposition parties in the state.
He stated further the coalition is necessary if they want a change of government in the state.
He lamented that the state residents and Nigerians experience hardship under the APC government at the state and federal level.
“We are here to declare our support for the way out through the movement for the coalition. Of course, coalition is the way out. If APC is in government, then the only thing that we need is an alternative political party that will get them out of office,” he stated.
