The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue state has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for the effort he is making to realise renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerians.
The party also commended the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Dr. George Akume, for his unparalleled devotion for unity of the APC in Benue state, ensure good fortunes of the party and delivery of the dividends of democracy for the people.
Addressing a press conference at the state party secretariat Tuesday, state chairman of the party, Austin Agada, also reiterated support for the APC administration of Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia and called for synergy amongst all party members and those in public offices to collectively deliver APC campaign promises to the long suffering people of Benue state.
Agada who expressed worry over the misunderstanding in his party that led to a court case against him, said for the past few weeks, the APC in the state had “witnessed feverish but unnecessary clandestine plots for the soul of the leadership of the APC in Benue state.”
He thanked the judiciary which he described as, “the statutory arbiter for engendering law and order.
“Yesterday, Monday, the 12th February, 2024 the judiciary however, put a halt to these clandestine moves by a land mark ruling by no less a personage than the Honourable Chief Judge of Benue state, the Honourable Justice Maurice A. Ikpambese,” he stated.
