AFCON 2023: Peter Obi storms Abidjan, joins Nigerian supporters to cheer Super Eagles vs Angola

Former Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi is in Côte d’Ivoire to support the Nigerian national team, Super Eagles against Angola in AFCON 2023 Quarterfinals.

Obi, a businessman and former Anambra State Governor, has been one of the Nigerian leaders that have been sending words of encouragement to the Super Eagles who have performed well to reach the Quarterfinals.

The team will face the Angolan national team at the Quarterfinals after defeating the Cameroonians team in the knockout stage.

In a post on X, Mr Valentine Ozigbo, Peter Obi’s ally and statesman, shared the pictures of Obi alongside the NFF former President, Amaju Pinnick.

He wrote: “Just arrived in Côte d’Ivoire with HE @PeterObi to support our soaring Super Eagles to victory in the Quarterfinals of AFCON 2023. Quite a pleasant lunch at Sofitel Abidjan.
