A group on the aegis of “I Can Be More Women and Girls Initiative” has said every woman can become a better version of herself if not deterred by challenges.
The faith -based group admonished women to rise up to their full potentials in line with the purpose of God in their lives.
According to the organisation, “irrespective of the past and present experiences or age, every female can still rise up to discover, unlock her hidden potentials and achieve better outcomes.”
Convener of the group, Mrs. Funmi Jerry Nkwelle disclosed this during the “More Women Conference” held in Benin City, Edo state capital.
Funmi noted that the conference which has as its theme: “Women Emerged” is geared to brainstorm, hand out the right information and enlighten young girls.
She added that the group has continually advocated for women through informative outreach, spiritual guidance and economic support, adding that the conference was her way of given back to them on the occasion of her 40th birthday.
“These information put forward to women will enable them know how they can discover their potentials early enough to embark on their journey of becoming a ‘more’ woman,” the convener stated.
