The senator representing Adamawa South in the National Assembly, Binos Dauda Yaroe, has flagged off the construction of a brand new modern maternity clinic in Lamza community of Guyuk local government area of the state.
The senator also commissioned other projects in the area, including a police outpost, industrial borehole, 11.3km road and Tuesday Market.
Speaking Thursday in Lamza at the foundation laying ceremony/commissioning of the projects, Sen. Binos said he embarked on the life-saving projects due to his concern for his people, especially those at the rural areas as well as the need to make life better for those who elected him into office.
He further re-iterated his commitment to keep on the good work of spreading impactful projects that would change the socio-economic conditions of his people in all communities across the 9 local government areas that make up Adamawa South; assuring that he would fulfil all his electoral promises to the people of his senatorial district.
The senator praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on his efforts to change the face of development in Adamawa state, through massive infrastructural drive, stating the need for him and others as true representatives of their people to contribute their quota to the development of their communities through people-oriented projects.
On his part, Governor Fintiri, represented by the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hon. Wunfe Anthony, hailed Sen. Yaroe for not only doing well at the National Assembly but also proving to the world that he is truly the people’s senator through his interventions and activities.
He urged him not to relent in his efforts to change the narratives in line with his campaign promises, adding that his people were proud of him.
Also speaking, the Kwandi Nunguraya, Dr. Kurhaye Dishon Dansanda II, commended the senator for his good work, adding that he had turned Lamza from a village to a mobile town, supported by their son, Chief Emmanuel Ishiaku Lamza, and called on other political office holders to emulate him by putting the interest of their people at heart.
